Our Annual Christmas Parade

Our town's annual Christmas Parade is on the 1st monday of Dec...We go every year if weather permits. The weather,the last few years,seems to put us in Christmas parade mode.Though,I am sure it is much colder in the nothern states at this time of the year...Here in the deep south 30's and 40's with the wind blowing between 10-15 mph helps us to realize when why we stay here during the hot summer months...Back to our parade adventure...We go hang out with family and friends to see the Christmas floats,hear the bands play and catch lots of beads and candy...The kids have a great time,forgetting the temperature..The adults,on the other hand,remember how cold we are-while we wait on Santa and Mrs.Claus to arrive...Which in our case just happens to be the last float of the parade...Then it's all over for the kids...But wait,we(the adults)have to get out of the traffic to get home and get kids ready for bed cause there is school in the morning...All in all we really do have a good time together with our family and friends..This is the way good memories are made and they will last forever....
