Merry Christmas !!!

I hope you all have had a beautiful day...We had a blast with family and new friends..
It has been a lazy day.Steven napped most of the day with working all nite he got in bed around 11am after gift giving and breakfast at Nan.
Christmas Eve we spent at Penny's with her boys,Josh,Skylar and Grandmother Ida..It was a treat.Penny knows how to set-up for a dinner party. The menu consisted of snow crab legs,corn/crab bisque,seafood gumbo but the most wonderful treat(for me at least)was the garlicky,buttery,lemony dip Penny made for dipping the crab legs.
Penny and Mrs.Ida are from the north and what a pleasant take on how they celebrate things.
We had a nice,peaceful time(even with the three girls there Janna,Carson and Jaycee).We exchanged gifts and hung out for awhile.
Thanks, Penny ,for a wonderful evening on Christmas Eve.
Oh Yeah,one more thing,I don't think Penny owes plastic wear at all.You know my family is use to paper plates,paper napkins,paper cups,plastic utensils(especially for family gatherings helps make the clean up faster).At Penny's everything was glassware.Made me neverous with the kids and handling their own glasses but it was a nice change from the norm..

Pictures in reverse..We had a ginger bread house.30 minutes later we ate the house..The kids could not wait for Christmas..We had an interesting time decorating it.
I hope everyone is having a great Christmas vacation..We are enjoying not having to get up early to go anywhere..Steven had to work tonite.So,the kids and I are off to friends tonite for crab legs and corn/crab bisque.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!.I hope everyone had a great time with friends and family.
We had turkey dinner at our house this year..It was nice..There were lots of our family here.
We missed Steven(thanks honey for working to make extra for us).We missed baby brother and his family.

Thanksgiving Fest at School

Our little ones had Thanksgiving in their classrooms this past week.The kids had a choice to dress-up like a Indian or Pilgrim.
The spread of food for each class was bountiful.The kids had a great time.Thanks to all the parents for giving your time and energy for this festive fun.

Hub Fins IMX 2009

We had an awesome swim weekend in Laurel..Jaycee and Janna swam great..Jaycee finished,in most of her events,in the top 10.Her best event was 200 IM.She cut 30 secs off her old time and finished in 3rd place.
Janna finished in 3rd place with high point winner in her age group.She also placed 3rd in a few of her events..Steven and I are so proud of both of them..Altogether,our team as a whole had great meet...
