Costume Party

Our friend Heidi has had a costume party for the last few years. It is small and quaint.
We always have a nice,low-keyed gathering with the kids and each other.I love to go cuz it's good times with my friends and my kids friends.
It was even better this year cuz Steven has home to go.The moms got to walk and talk, while my sweet honey man kept up with the kids..Thank you--Babe But most of all "Thank you Heidi"for your wonderful hospitality and your willingness to have all of us crazy people at our house at one time..Especially,when Ned comes for a quick visit.

The Pirates of Nantucket and Punkie Brewster...Cute costumes
Janna said she was a "Fairy Girl"or something to that affect.

Kenzie was a Fun Witch
Cory was a Bama fan
Kesley and Lauryn were nerds
Cutest Pirate I ever seen
Amy,I should've put some freckles on K's face.

My fairy girl stationed herself by the candy bowl.

Craving pumpkins with the Kids

My S-I-L invited us over for some special chili and pumpkin craving.Missy had bought a craving kit with stencils.It was a blast and it was easier than we thought;
I think the dads had more fun than the kids and the moms. The pumpkins turned out pretty neat.It didn't take long and we had a great time together.

Janna and me watching Uncle Tracey cut out Janna's pumpkin.
Sweet kids
Brotherly Love

Do these baby girls have moms or what? Look at their messy heads of hair..

Daddy was at work and didn't make it until we were finished with the festivity
He did make home in time to eat chili and play golf on the T.V

AKA:Corndog

Yes,I have hit the big 40 with not much change..I feel the same(like I'm still 25).I guess it really is how you feel in your heart and head that determines how you look at yourself on the outside, knowing who you are in Jesus and how much in love he is with you..It gets ya past this age stuff.
My wonderful husband(who I didn't think was so great a few weeks back)had all these things planned to surprise me.The trip to Gatlinburg, the spa day,and the cake with friends. So,I ask forgiveness for those weeks in the past and look at Steven in a whole new light.Girl, don't ever think your man doesn't have it in him...He does and mine showed me up with all the things he can do.Thank you,Babe for everything you have done and all you do for me.
O.k.,I know you guys are wondering about the AKA: Corndog on my cake.My beautiful friend Angie, her husband Danny seems to think all of Angie's friends need nicknames.Well,he was thinking of my one day when all of a sudden my son John said something about doing the corndog and from then on my nickname has been Corndog.I know, not a very sweet name but never the less an orginial one, don't ya think.
The Corndog Cake

This has been one of the best moments in my life.
We sang...
We laughed.....
We blew out candles....

We had a fun time..The girls had a big time helping me open my gifts..
Thank you to my friends and family who were able to come celebrate
with me and my family..Family and friends are the greatest gift a person
can have and I am blessed with so many..
